Good value hotel if you just need a place to sleep and spend your time somewhere else. Friendly staff. |

The hotel is near the metro station République, which is crossing of 5 metro lines. You can go almost everywhere without changing line.
The room was warm and daily cleaned. Personnel was very friendly and helpful.

|
In the bathroom was mouldy ceiling. |

One day room was NOT locked.
One day there were no towels.
Shown pictures are from the Hotel Taylor, which is next door, operated by the same staff, and apparently much nicer. |

| private travelling as an individual, 31-40 years; travel season:April 2008 |
Internet was free of charge to use at the lobby, that was very convinient.

|
Bathroom depth was too flat connected to the room carpet, so it was uncomfortable. |

The hotel is really close to metro and the room was very quiet.

|
The hotel was under reform when we got there, so the pictures describing the hotel were not good. Also, there were no plate indicating the hotel, only a reference for an old hotel... |

The signage "Hotel Louxor" is absent. The other name of the hotel "Hotel Taylor" is visible. |

Overall good value for money. Would stay there again.

|
Drains need attention and plug in basin doesn't work. Would like to see tea-making facilities in room. |

| private travelling as an individual, 31-40 years; travel season:June 2007 |
Maybe caused by low room rate, the rooms are too small and hotel has been overhauled. Also the location seems to me not so good..
The front desk should be more friendly in next time.. |
