Additional pictures The Hotel Hofwirt is a modern, however traditional hotel in the centre of Salzburg, next to the pedestrian zone in the Linzergasse. Our 60 single and double rooms are very comfortable. They have a contemporary design and provide a bathroom with shower and toilet, satellite TV and a portable phone. The former hotel restaurant will be converted into a breakfast room where our guests can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast buffet from 07:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Privat and public parking available (reservation is not necessary), price 12,- Euro per day The multilingual and friendly hotel team shall be pleased to help you with the reservation of tickets for concerts or sightseeing tours with pick-up service at the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We did not have any problems what so ever. The staff was helpful and polite which always makes hotel stays that much more enjoyable.

1. I am not sure if this comment is positive or negative. We stayed at this hotel in 2006 and thought that it was rather tired looking and in need of refurbishment. For 2007 the owners have done that and more. It is now much more inviting in the reception area, with a bar and lounge. The rooms are now very modern - what could be described as minimalist. We rather liked it, but it might not be to everyone's taste. 2. Very conveniently located; very friendly, helpful staff.

Only one tiny niggle: there was no soap tray in the shower. I am sure that if this is pointed out to the proprietors they will rectify it.
