The design Hotel east is located in the heart of Hamburg’s most famous district St. Pauli. The famous architect and designer Jordan Mozer converted an old iron foundry into a luxury hotel. Ancient architecture was combined with modern and exceptional design.
Our 127 spacious rooms are equipped with king-size bed, desk with all technical connections, sat-TV, Sky entertainment TV, iPod docking station, telephone, mini-bar, safe with PC socket, hair-dryer, shower or bathtub and a separate toilet.
Our wellness area provides 3 treatment rooms as well as a chill-out room with Finnish sauna and large garden terrace. We use products from Jean D'Arcel and Thalgo in our beauty area. You will find one of the most exclusive sporting clubs in Hamburg on 1200 m². The loft-like fitness area features high-quality TechnoGym exercise and cardiovascular machines. The highlight is our Kinesis room. Break away from the humdrum of everyday life in our spa area. Finnish sauna, bio sauna with aromatic herbs, a cistern, experience showers and a plunge pool are waiting for you. Find some relaxation either in the Silent Room with heated waterbeds or in the individually decorated Wellness Lounge. Please excuse the fact, that it is not yet possible to get to the fitness and sporting club directly from the hotel.

Wonderful design, beautiful rooms, wonderful restaurant, lovely staff- you don`t want to leave anymore once you`re there... i love the hotel!!

| It's really a nightclub pretending to be an Hotel. No availability in the restaurant (and the neighbourhood is a gastronomic armpit) and it took me 20 minutes to get a drink....If you want to eat/drink stick to a Marriott... |

There was a clean feeling in entirely, and the attitude of the reception and the bar was very good.

| Especially, the lavatory/washroom for a facial cleansing and a tooth polish was not easy to use. I felt that it caused in the design of the room of the present age style. |

Very nice hotel and wonderful decoration.

| Reception is not manned sufficiently. The rooms are not replenished with ammenities e.g. bath soap after it has been finished which is a big disappointment considering the amount of money one pays. Furthermore, the mattress is not very comforable as well. |
