Additional pictures The Hotel Coronado enjoys a central location opposite the university and is about 10 minutes away from the central station and the airport. Across the street you will find a park with jogging paths, biotope and benches which invite you to rest.Each of our 40 rooms has a modern furnishing and provides a bathroom with shower and toilet, mini-bar, TV,direct dial phone and free Wifi internet. Most of the rooms have air condition(exept twin rooms). Furthermore there is a meeting room for up to 10 people at your disposal. In front of the hotel and behind there are parking lots for our guests.In the morning we serve you a copious breakfast buffet. Right in front of the hotel there is a tramway stop (7, 9, 10,14) which provides easy access to all parts of our city. A number of shopping facilities are within walking distance. The tram line 10 takes you from the Zurich Airport directly to the Hotel Coronado (stop Milchbuck).City tax CHF 2.50 per person and per night is calculated separately.Please note, that all rooms are non-smoking ones. Hotel is located bang opposite tram station, rooms are clean, internet was free, one person was available 24 hours, is a bit costly but when one is on vacation he needs to rest properly, so it was worth the money. Apart from this Indian hotel is just on the other of the hotel and open till midnight, this is great for all vegetarians.

The hotel was excellent. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

One thing that might be helpful would be to let travelers know how easily accessible the hotel is from the train station, by explaining exactly which tram to take and which stop to get off at. It would have saved us a very pricey taxi ride.

As a three star hotel it is more than good. Compared to some four star hotels this hotel has all equipments in the room (tv, mini bar) and a working air condition. As we traveled by car it was not a problem to get a place in the free hotel parking. The breakfast was good. You get different kinds of breads, cafe or tea, egg, cerials and a lot more. If you want to go to the city the tram stop is just on the other side of the street and two tram lines reach the main station and city center in just 10min. The tram tickets can be bought at the hotel reception, also. You can change there money as well. We traveled as a couple and can warmly recommend this hotel.

Can't find any real negative points. If you want and need a bigger room then one should take a hotel with four or more stars. For a short trip to Zurich the hotel is excellent.
