| Very central location, very nice staff, nice part of town, good price/ration for Zuerich. The hotel interior plays along with the Eagles song "Hotel California", which gives it an unusual touch. |

| The noise from the hotel restaurant and alley made sleeping impossible from midnight to 3am. Because of this I would not recommend staying at Hotel California. All they need to do is purchase soundproof windows and the place would be recommended by me. |

The service at the hotel was exceptional. They made a special effort to make a room available to us earlier than the posted check-in time and then provided tea and coffee while we waited. Later when I needed ice for a swollen ankle, they responded immediately. We would definitely stay there again.

| Watch the costs in the surrounding neighborhood for lunch or dinner...very pricey. We relied on a neighborhood grocery story behind the hotel. |

VERY GOOD AND QUIET LOCATION IN OLD ZUERICH. FRIENDLY PERSONAL AT CHECK-IN DESK AND IN THE RESTAURANT. FREE BREAKFAST IS VERY GOOD AND PLENTY. THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO PLEASE YOU. THIS GOES ALSO FOR HOUSE-KEEPING.
