Our four-star Hotel Astor is located directly in the heart of the city, yet offering peace and tranquillity at the same time. Take a stroll in the English Garden, enjoy the famous Munich Weißwürste (Bavarian veal sausages), but please do so before noon (they are not supposed to hear the church bell ring at 12:00), go shopping at the Viktualienmarkt (a daily food market) or in the large pedestrian zone while enjoying the sight of the city hall and the Marienplatz square. On rainy days a visit to the Deutsches Museum or to one of the 3 Pinakotheken galleries is recommended. And even when time is short, a visit to one of the many beer gardens is a must for everyone visiting the city of Munich. All sights are to be reached easily with Hotel Astor as a starting point.
Our modern rooms are furnished with great care for detail and they all feature a bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, make-up mirror, mini-bar, telephone, modem connection, radio, cable TV including Premiere pay TV (free of charge for our guests), internet via TV, and a WLAN connection.

The breakfast is excellent and the time offered is good for someone late wake up (7-11). Location is very convenience, very close to train station and the central of city.

Very ok hotel, nice people, very good breakfast. Tittybars close by did not bother - those are everywhere in Munich.

| Not a four star hotel - 2,5 stars would be closer, but I guess it was worth the money we paid.. Beware not to have a parking place from the hotel - there is not many. |
