Charming hotel good value for money in a charming part of Berlin. I certanly will recommend if friends look for a reasonable place to stay. The staff were very very helpful and friendly, and breakfast above average. Will be our first choice next time Berlin, some tired of expensive/low value hotels.

Could be some better guidance when hotel were unmanned during night (quite OK), but had some problems to find right door to find our room. New TV should be fine.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, but this was the first since the management has changed. I experienced a number of difficulties this time that didn't exist before--such as unknowledgable staff who couldn't answer simple questions and told me to talk with their colleagues the next day--and although I previously was able to have my clothes laundered at the hotel (and the web listing says there is a laundry service), this time they flatly refused to do so, and I had to take my clothes half-way across Berlin (to Ostbahnhof) to do this--a major inconvenience that I hadn't expected, and one that almost ruined my trip. I really liked this hotel in the past, but based on my experiences this time (especially the lack of helpfulness from some of the staff), I don't think I will go back. Diesmal kann ich es leider nicht empfehlen.
