 Clean room and good bed. Helpful English speaking staff. Really good location for doing things in town. Train station nearby had all shops open on Sunday so you can get whatever you need any day of week.

| Parking is tricky. Steet was noisy on Saturday night from the bars nearby but other nights were quiet. That's normal city life I guess. Running the fan in the room helped block the noise. |

| I stayed another night and used the main hotel Monopol which the Alpina is linked to; breakfast is taken at parent hotel Monopol. For 5 CHF more I had a remarkable room in Monopol. Nothing special about the Alpina but the room was really small. |

We really enjoyed staying in the Hotel Alpina Luzern. The stuffs were very friendly and very helpful. The location is fantastic and its a real value for the money spent.
