 We would probably look for a hotel in a more convenient area although it was located near to the train station. |

 I stayed for one night in this hotel. Staff seemed very helpful and friendly. The rooms were a bit cramped but very clean and nice. I would recommend the hotel. It is 5 minutes from the Metro stop in Madrid so very conveniently located. It takes about 50 minutes by Metro to get to the airport from this hotel.

I was SO impressed by the member of staff who parked the hire car for me in the underground carpark. So hot (39 degrees), so narrow a space -and my friend stressing me out - it was appreciated. It was so much appreciated. I had stayed in this hotel before (1997?)on business so knew what to expect. It hasn't changed much. Target market: coach tours. The hotel was empty! I also got help with suitcases and the air conditioning as I could not figure out how to make it work. The staff were very, very attentive. I'd recommend it. Its location is also very good, so close to the Retiro gardens and Atocha railway stations. Bus outside. Very convenient.

Staffs are not freindly.
I asked non-smoking room, but there was ash tray in the room.
Because of low-price room, almost no light comes in from the window. |
