Adler is a charming three-star-hotel and was recently renovated. Perfectly situated in the heart of the lively Old Town of Zurich called Niederdorf with its unique flair, our hotel is an ideal starting point. For business trips as well as for private stays.All of the 52 rooms are equipped with soundproof windows, colling system, bath or shower, toilet, hair-dryer, direct dial telephone (without any surcharges for external calls), voicemail, flat screen TV with radio, fax and modem connection, safe and oeco mini-bar. The internet terminal is in the upper lobby free of charge for all our guests. We offer also in the whole house the base WIFI / WirelessLan for free for surfing the net with the smartphone, iPad or laptop.The famous restaurant Swiss Chuchi belongs to Hotel Adler as well. You will enjoy our delicious dishes like Cordon Bleu, slices of veal on a mushroom sauce, Roesti and of course the popular Swiss cheese fondue.

 knocking and banging noises going on quite a lot- possibly cleaning?? Weather was mild when I was there so could keep window closed to keep out street noise - might not be so good in warm weather as there did not seem to be any a/c. |

I was staying in Zurich for the first time, but I didn't have much problems with finding the hotel. The hotel better looks inside than outside. The room is small but convienient and bed is comfortable as well. Even if it's placed in rather noisy surroundings I didn't have problems to fall asleep. Nearby you'll find a lot of nice bars and shoping area is within 10-minutes walk. To sum up, it's ok place to stay for 1-2 days.

| Even if you get a great coffee for a breakfast, the choice of food is rather limited. Hotel provides one computer with Internet access for free, that is most of the time occupied. |
