Situated in the historic quarter between the Wiener Prater and St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Hotel Vienna offers its guests typical Old-Viennese atmosphere, Viennese charm and a personalised service. A plethora of famous sights are nearby and can be conveniently reached within a short amount of time.

 

The hotel features cosy and quiet guest rooms with bathtub or shower, WC, hairdryer, safe, mini bar, satellite TV, phone, internet access, WLAN, radio and desk. We are happy to reserve a non-smoking room for you. The hotel’s different floors are easily accessible via lift.

 

Look forward to a rich breakfast buffet served after a good night’s sleep as the perfect start to the day. Regional and international specialties are offered in our restaurant.

 

Our hotel has been family-run for more than 50 years. It is a central starting point for numerous cultural and sports activities. The Old Town – still characterised by the time of the Habsburg reign – as well as the Schönbrunn Castle are UNESCO world cultural heritage sites. St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the giant wheel in the Wiener Prater are just some of Vienna’s landmarks worth a visit.

 

 The hotel does not provide sufficient parking facilities. Public parking is available in direct vicinity (for a fee of 18 EUR/day).

Fairly central (near Prater fairground).
 
Two hour street parking only (until 22.00!). I had to leave my car on a park & ride car park.

Very nice stay here, I liked it very much - good breakfast, clean and nice building and room. Pet friendly hotel. Next time in Vienna I will book this hotel again!!! :-)
 
The walls between rooms are absolutly not soundproof, so if you have same luck as me (crying baby in the next room whole night) the sleeping will be difficult. But there is no noise from outside.

comfortable beds, nice all renovated modern room, quiet, modern bathroom with nice shower

Rooms seem to have been recently renovated (June 09), room and bathroom allow enough space (vs. UK and French hotels of same class!) to be comfortable, staff if friendly and speaks English, Italian and possibly others. Close to train and subway stations, quiet neighborhood, soundproof windows.
 
Room windows have no shutters and curtains do not block sunlight, in summer at 4 am it is light! Room walls are NOT soundproofed, could hear neighbors speaking on phone to China at 5 am, as well as doing other late-night activities! NO aircon; in hot days room is very uncomfortable. No fitness.

Front desk staff was helpful and were able to answer almost all of our questions in a helpful way.
 
Inconsistent staff competence...errors and omissions on our bill caused a delay in checking out. Also, the room was rather noisy with guests in the adjoining room...neighborhood wasn't very nice and was located right in between tram and Underground routes.
