Hotel und Restaurant Köhlerhütte-Fürstenbrunn

Since 1839, our hotel has been a family-run inn. In 1994, it was extended to a small hotel with comfortable rooms. In our historic snuggeries, in the beer garden or in the prince hall, you can enjoy our regional specialties. The hotel is ideally located in a quiet, wooded area amidst the beautiful Erz Mountains and it’s the ideal starting point to different places of interest.

We have 20 spacious rooms, of which 2 are two room apartments and 1 is a suite with a canopy bed. All rooms are equipped with bath/shower, WC, cosmetic mirror, TV, telephone and lounge with sofa. In the double rooms, an additional bed is available. The prince hall is suitable for up to 100 people and is the ideal place for weddings, birthday parties and other celebrations. The show mine, situated within 100 m from the hotel, is worth a visit.

Waschleithe is a recreation area close to the metropolitan areas of Chemnitz and Zwickau. An obelisk, which reminds of the kidnapping of the princes Ernst and Albrecht in 1455, is situated directly at the hotel. Other places of interest are: the old show mine, the ruins of the Dudelskirche, the zoo, a lot of hiking trails, the Spiegelwaldturm, the town of Schwarzenberg, the Annaberg-Buchholz Museum and the railway Museum.
