Welcome to the Hotel Schmidt! We look forward to giving our guests the opportunity to enjoy the feel-good atmosphere of our hotel, the beautiful surrounding area, the personal management and all the additional comforts.
Our hotel offers 50 rooms with a total of 90 beds. The Multi/double and single rooms await guests with en-suite facilities, TV, telephone and WLAN for free. The garden with its lawn is a great place to relax.
The all-you-can-eat breakfastbuffet is served in a tastefully furnished dining room. Enjoy as much aromatic coffee, full-flavoured tea or hot chocolate, egg,scrambled eggs with sausages, cheese and cold cuts as you like. Crispy bread rolls, dark rye bread and multifruit and orange juice on request. The best way to start your day!

Good room, good value, excellent access to the S-Bahn, and therefore the airport.
The first room they offered us was in the basement and had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. There was no problem changing to another better room.

Good comfortable rooms, clean, good facilities. Good breakfast for a German hotel.
We will probably return, as it is in a good location for us, and it is close to the Autobahn, S Bahn and the hochbahn. Good shops are very close.
The hotel is spread over several buildings. not just the one, and it is not like the picture. It is also right next to the S bahn, which is good in some ways, not so good in others.
The decor and the fittings are very old fashioned. Again this is a matter of taste, and it does not affect the quality of the rooms and the cleanliness
The TV is only a limited number of German channels, and the reception is not good.
It is not really central, it is several S bahn stops away from Hamburg central.

This recent stay at Hotel Schmidt was my fourth time and was as good an experience as ever. Staff are excellent and very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, especially in the separate building next to the hotel. I will definitely book again and would recommend to family and friends.
There were some very noisy guests at around midnight with loud voices and door banging. It might be a good idea for hotel policy to request guests respect other guests quietness when asleep late at night or early morning.
