Hotel description Hotel San Cassiano - Residenza d'Epoca

Business hours of reception: 24 hours

Hotel San Cassiano - Residenza d'Epoca is located at the banks of the Grand Canal and offers the guests a beautiful view when arriving at the hotel's gate with a water taxi. The entrance area for pedestrians, which can be reached via calm residential alleys, provides a small patio with stone columns, fonts and a tree.

Channel gondolas and water taxis are at your disposal right in front of the hotel's entrance. The rooms feature mini-bar, safe, air-conditioning, direct-dial telephone, WLAN and satellite TV.

Our breakfast buffet is served on the Piano Nobile upper floor in a hall with terrace offering a marvellous view of the Grand Canal. Besides the classic continental breakfast with bread and brioche you may also enjoy yoghurt, cereals, fruit salad, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, bacon and sausages.

Hotel San Cassiano - Residenza d'Epoca is the only palace on the Grand Canal which was formerly owned by a Venetian artist. It was the residence of Giacomo Favretto, one of the most popular Venetian painters in the 2nd half of the 19th century.

We had a room with direct view to the grand canal. Beautiful room and quite. The price we paid was drastically less than the normal price. It is a great hotel with very friendly and competent staff. We had a drink at hotel bar and the price is reasonable, even less than at a cafe.

Italian expresso for breakfeast is missing.
