The hotel Quinta Splendida Wellness & Botanical Garden is located in Caniço on the Island of Madeira. The estate is set in a 30.000 m² large, landscaped botanical garden with many different plants, inviting the guests to take a walk and to relax. The main building is a restored manor house from the 19th century with many antiquities and paintings.

There are 166 rooms in 5 different categories available. We offer standard twin rooms with garden view, studios with garden view as well as studios and apartments at the seaside. All have either balcony or terrace and a part of the garden as well open plan spa suites with sea view and a big terrace. Some of the twin rooms do not have balcony. Guests of the spa suites have free access to the spa and wellness area. Internet is also available in all suites.

The brand new 1,400 m² spa and wellness area Tep Panom offers an oasis of luxurious spa facilities such as an indoor and vitality pool, traditional Finnish sauna, ice pool, heated stone bed relaxation zone within the sauna section and a cardiovascular fitness and weight station. There are also a Turkish steam sauna, a Far Eastern-style mud bath, igloo with ice fountain and 10 treatment rooms with an extensive treatment list. The Spa can be used for a fee. No access for children under 16 years in our spa & wellness area.

The gourmet restaurant La Perla is located in the manor house and has recently been awarded one of the best restaurants in Portugal by the Portuguese Academy of Gastronomy. Furthermore, we offer the restaurant Galeria, the Thai Lounge, the outdoor bar Siddhartha and the Globe cocktail bar with evening entertainment. We also present a lounge with snooker and table tennis which are free of charge for the guests.
