We stayed over the Mondial for five nights, three persons, two bedrooms, in November 2012. The bedrooms we had were unusually spacious for a 3-star hotel, consistent with the pictures shown on the internet: simple, clean, quiet, with a standard comfortable bedding. The personnel taking care of the bedroom was kindly helpful. None information on room services or on the town is available in the rooms. The telephone was not functional in one room. The hotel is conveniently located three min walking from the U-station which in turn is only 2 stops away from downtown. A variety of food is available by a self service breakfast; surprisingly, tea and coffee are not. Most regrettable, persons at the desk seem to have very little concern communicating with customers, even at minimum kindness, though the basic job is done. The hotel location, cleanness, room space and quietness is worth its rate.

The hotel was quite close to my daughter.
Five of the 6 bathroom lights were out and it was impossible to see to put makeup on or, in my husband's case, shave. he cut himself. When I advised the front desk the gentlement came to the room, opened the fuse box, looked at it and said he wasn't an electrician. It got repaired the night before we left. I.e. 3 days without adequate light and NO effort to change our room or,compensate us in any way.

Initially I was cold and took the bedding from both beds as I didn't realise I needed to turn on the heating. Perhaps there should be a note to that effect for those of us not used to this type of heating! The room warmed up once the heating was on.
Apart from this everything was fine and the staff were very helpful.

All of the hotel staff I came into contact with were very helpful and very friendly. They went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. I very much enjoyed my stay there. I would stay there again, if I have the opportunity.
