Good place, good staff, good breakfast.

I have asked nonsmoking room, but there was strong smoking smell we cannot remove by fresh air from the window. Quite noisy - probably you cannot sleep with window opened.

The hotel was very good for the price of 50 Euro. It was clean, friendly staff and the breakfast was good. Also it was within easy walking distance from the Central train station. There was a very cheap and good Chinese between the hotel and the Train station.

Friendly staff.

The STAFF was overly nice and friendly. It's a shame that the same can't be said about the owner. I'd lost my purse and couldn't pay by credit card. And while a staff member assured me that'd be fine and I'd just get a bill and can pay it later... the owner, who was the one who checked me out, refused to send a bill and effectively accused me of trying to scam him. Even when I offered to show him the paper from the police, showing that I reported the theft to the police - that still wasn't enough and in his eyes, I was still trying to scam him. Mind you, the booking was made via my company. So unless that company was also fake, how could I scam him? Also, the rooms are very very old and haven't been renovated since the 60s. They also are the opposite of soundproof, you can here every noise from the inside and outside of the hotel, making it almost impossible to get a good night's rest. SO NOT RECOMMENDED. DO NOT GO THERE.

The rooms were very clean, friendly and very accomadating staff, and great well rounded German breakfast and great table service. We were allowed to check-in at 11am and store our luggage for 4 hours after check-out. Great price for 3 single beds and breakfast.

Three singles beds in a room - one bed was too soft, one too lumpy and the other just right. The pillows do not have many feathers in them. The room is warm and stuffy - if we opened the windows it was too noisy. I am sure we could of moved to a quieter room not faceing the tracks but we were too exhausted. The tourist information center near the Dom and Hauptbahnhof is more knowledgeable. There are so many hotels in the area that next time I would try another one.

Bardzo przyjemny hotel, bardzo, bardzo miła obsługa hotelu, przepyszne śniadania podane w atrakcyjny sposób. Pokoje czyste, przestronne, okna wyciszone od strony ulicy. Hotel polecam wszystkim odwiedzającym Kolonie. Na pewno wrócimy tu w przyszłym roku

The staff were very friendly and helpful their command of the english language was excellent . The room was spotlessly clean. the car was parked in a secure garage.the walk to the cathderal through the train station only took a couple of minutes. We will be returning
