Architecture
Built in 1964 by the prestigious architect D. José Maria Coderch, the building is renowned for being something special. The Meliá de Mar is without doubt one of the most charismatic hotels on the island and is one of the best examples of modern Architecture in the Balearics. The building is now under protection due to its historical patrimony. With its 7 floors, right in front of the Mediterranean Sea, the building emphasises modernity, quality and design.
