The popular Hotel Mediodia is situated in a peaceful by-street in the heart of El Arenal's vibrant tourist centre. The palm-lined promenade and the wide, fine sandy beach are just 80 metres away. Numerous shopping and leisure facilities are in the immediate vicinity as well.

The hotel was built in 1968 and completely renovated in 1997. It is a 9-storey establishment with 166 rooms, 18 of which are single and 148 double rooms. Various facilities are available to guests including a furnished sun terrace as well as a vast foyer with lifts and safes. Furthermore there is a games room, a TV room, a discotheque, a café, a cosy bar, an air-conditioned non-smoking restaurant where children's highchairs are available. Business guests may make use of the conference room and the public internet terminal. In the evenings, guests may select their meals from a buffet.

A freshwater swimming pool with separate children's area and sun loungers can be found in the outdoor area. Guests will find numerous activities on the beach, including jet skiing, motor boating, diving and pedal boating. In addition, there is a squash court and a billiard- snooker table, both of which can be used for a fee.
