Hotel Magellan is located in a quiet and safe residential area of Paris`s 17th arrondissement. It is near Arc de Triomphe and at 10 minutes walk from the Palais des Congrès of Porte Maillot. The property is family-run and offers a high-quality service. The Hotel Magellan occupies a fine building made of dressed stone that dates from the 19th century. It boasts a private enclosed garden, an outdoor terrace and a small private house called Le Pavillon. There are plenty of local shops and good value restaurants within walking distance.

relativ zentral gelegen; ruhiges Zimmer; gute Frühstücksauswahl-allerdings ohne warme Gerichte

Quiet street, well located in a nice area - supermarket and various restaurants close by. Enclosed garden is nice.We ate at Tibs Israeli/pizza/sushi restaurant 3 nights.
RER train line or Air France bus bring you to within 10 min walk if arriving at CdG Airport. Arc de T. a short walk too.
Not really cheap but Paris hotels seem to be pricey.

Great hotel! My wife and I traveled to Paris for our aniversary and loved everything about this hotel. The breakfast was incredible and the staff were very polite and friendly unlike the people on the street. Excellent price/value ratio. Highly recommendable!
It is advertised as a 4 star hotel, but their hotel sign shows 3 stars. I think I deserves the 4!

lovely hotel in a calm neighbourhood, level of noise in the room very low; room rather small, but completely sufficient for an oversleep (in the morning out, late in the evening back); willing staff; quite rich breakfast
the location - no sight reachable by feet, but on the other hand, Metro stop just 5 minutes away...

everything is really good in this small, but very nice hotel! we missed nothing and really enjoyed the stay - especially metro connection was a big plus here bcs. you just walk ~5min and can travel everywhere with comfort. You can even walk to Arc de Triumphe easily (~15min).

- Parking available (17 Euros per day), but only until 12 (check-out time)!
- Well situated
- Very friendly staff (only one of the breakfast waiters was very rude)
- If you have to open the window i.e. in sommer because no air conditioning is available, then the room is noisy.
- No air-conditioning, but you could lend a fan for free if you asked for it at the reception. But this only during the day, the receptionist at night didn´t have the keys to the storage room (!?)
- Few breakfast tables, if hotel is full, you might have trouble to find a free table... We had to wait around 15 min.
