The room I stayed in could definitely stand some renovation. A couple of tiles in the bathroom were loose, the carpeting didn´t quite reach one of the walls. Thus the overall impression of the room was "plain worn out" rather than "artfully aged" or "romantically old".

What a lovely environment to spend Christmas. We were hoping for a special visit, and it indeed was. We had a 3rd child added late to our trip, and she was accommodated easily, with an extra bed in the room, ample space, and fabulous breakfasts. In fact, we also had drinks at the piano bar, and ate in the hotel restaurant with a large group for dinner, all was spectacular. We would stay there again given the opportunity. Thanks for a special experience.

We loved our stay there, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. I would, though state that we were given information about a restaurant for Christmas evening that was the most expensive and awful meal that we ate there. I believe the name of the restaurant was "Laurel", and it was pricey, service poor and the fool almost not edible. This put a damper on our trip, and were it not for this, I would have given your hotel only the highest praises.
