Great location for visiting Hamburg. Hamburg's cross point of public transport is main railway station(HBf) Plenty of good eating places in this street and nearby. Leaving Hamburg is easy from this hotel,because HBf is across the street, where you can easily travel other cities in Germany and/or other countries by Eurocity trains. Also S-train to airport leaves from HBf

The hotel was very convenient for Hamburg Hbf. 45 seconds walk from door to station entrance. The hotel is in a fine old building and still has keys for the rooms!!!

Superb location, right opposite main train station but away from tracks so no train noise. Plenty of restaurants on same road.Very friendly staff. They stopped a group of guys going in but not to be unfriendly, just to make sure they were residents. Explained this is to avoid on-goings that can occur in other trainstation hotels. Very comforting and shows they want to maintain a high standard (despite being a small independent hotel). Can happily be used for business trips.

No bar. Thin curtains. Got light early.

The reception is not in hotel Kronprinz, any support from reception desk should go to next hotel which have co-operation, and from there should recieve reception service..
