The family-run Hotel Knorre is set right on the Elbe in Meissen. We invite you to relax in rustic, country style. Enjoy the view of the Meissen Cathedral and the picturesque floodplain of the Elbe River. The historical city centre is around 15 minutes from the hotel.
Our rooms are lovingly furnished and come with en-suite facilities, a hair-dryer, telephone, TV, mini bar and some feature a balcony.
Our restaurant provides a lovely view of the Albrechtsburg Castle. Here you can indulge in our delicious Sachsen cuisine, accompanied by just the right wine.
The immediate vicinity attracts visitors with its countless destinations for excursions. Visit the sights in Dresden, Moritzburg, Schloss Pillnitz or the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. We are happy to organise a trip to the Meissen Porcelain works, a themed tour of the city or a wine tasting session for you.

"This hotel is such a cute and unique find. I am so glad I stayed here. There wasn't a lot written about it, but I had walked by on the Elba River while visiting Meissen before, and it seemed like a nice place. The staff surpassed my expectations and I would highly, highly recommend staying at Hotel Knorre. The highlights for me were that the rooms have cute balconies right on the river, the hotel was incredibly immaculate and embellished with pretty fall decorations and details...the staff made sure to know my boyfriend and I personally and meet all of our needs. Loved it."
