The Kastens Hotel is located in the heart of Düsseldorf , next to the the new Media habour, the old part of town and the Rhine promenade. The famous Königsallee, the Landtag(Parliament of Northrhine Westphalia), several ministries, as well as the financial district, museums(K21/Ständehaus f.ex.) are easily reached within a few minutes walking distance.

günstiger Preis, gut zu erreichen, Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür gefunden
 
Boden war nicht gewischt bzw. gesaugt. Im Bad lag noch eine halbe Tablette vom Vormieter am Waschbecken

Hotel has a nice appearance
 
In the morning I did not get coffee from the coffee lady. Tuesday afternoon no hot water when I wanted to take a shower.

Zu Fuß vom Hauptbahnhof erreichbar. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Nähe zum Mediahafen, zum Rhein und zum MVTC. Witzige Kunstgegenstände im ganzen Hotel.

Good position of the hotel - not far from the city and not far from business facilities.
 
The design is so extreme till unsightly. Dispositions of the lobby, stairs and breakfast facilities are inappropriate.

Interesting and different artwork and design in this hotel. Not at all boring like some hotels. Nice size room with everything you need for a short stay at a reasonable price. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, and nice to have some many different teas available as well as good coffee.
 
We arrived at 3.30pm and our room was not quite ready but it only took a few minutes. The hotel location is not quite as central as we expected but you can walk to the best shops and old town in about 15 minutes.

A fabulous boutique hotel in a great location, close to the River and the old town as well as the famous shopping street. The room was excellent, very well designed with a great bathroom, we loved it. We would highly recommend this hotel.
