The Hotel Hohenried im Rosengarten is located in Freudenstadt, some 80 km south-west of Stuttgart on a high plateau in the outskirts of the Northern Black Forest. Freudenstadt is known as the town in the most elevated position in Germany and as a traditional tourist destination. Our property enjoys a quiet and yet central setting

 The rooms provide the exclusive amenities that today’s discerning guests would expect. Non-smoking rooms are also available

Our copious breakfast buffet gives you a nice start to the day. In the restaurant we spoil you with regional specialties.  

Apart from walking tours and Nordic Walking, you are welcome to enjoy the renovated ski lift at the Stockinger ski slope in the Lauterbad district. Golf enthusiasts will be happy to find one of the oldest golf clubs in Germany. Indulge in the sensations of wellbeing in the wellness room, in the swimming pool or in our private park.

 Please note our opening hours from our hotel  kitchen is daily in the evening  from 18 o´clock till 20:30 o´clock.

As this was a family run hotel on a smaller scale than the other we stayed at, it was a lot more relaxed and friendly. The room was very good and had a lovely view and there was also plenty to do in Freudenstadt itself which is only a short walk away. They didn't do any evening meals themselves, but the restaurants in the town were excellent and more than made up for it.
