You will find our hotel close to the historical old town gates. Nearby the "Galgentor", the main gate to the old town, our lovely perfectly located Hotel Gasthof Bezold invites you to stay. No matter whether you the enjoy meals in our restaurant or would like to have a room reservation, the Mittermeier family treat all their guests like kings! In our hotel's familiar atmosphere you will feel comfortable and homelike.

We have a long-time gastronomic experience, an overall quality awareness, very comfortable rooms as well as a cultivated atmosphere in our restaurant with Franconian delicacies - all home-made by our chef- and furthermore a parking lot directly in front of our hotel are just some of our advantages.

Our comfortable non-smoking double bedrooms are with bathroom or shower, Sat-TV as well as telephone and invite you to stay and relax. All rooms are also available as family rooms for 3 or 4 persons or for single persons. We have got a private parking lot in front of our hotel and a storage room for bicycles.

Excellent location. Just a hundred yards from the entrance to the city and all the shopping etc. Clean and tidy rooms although the restaurant, while very good, is quite small. Parking is no problem.

Very convenient comfortable location.
 
Some of the facility needs updating. Were told upon checkout that we had to pay cash (problems with credit card facilities)--a major inconvenience. Eventually achieved payment by credit card.

It was convenient for walking into the old town of Rothenburg.
 
Staff could not figure out how to make credit card charge, so requested that we go down the street to get cash. Absurd! Breakfast was restricted to 1.5 hours. Bread was at least a day old and stale. Given that Germany has the best bread in the world, that is simple unacceptable. Restaurant next door had a party until well after midnight--very noisy. My wife and I have stayed at dozens of places in Germany and Austria and this hotel ranks in the bottom 10%.

This is a beautiful well located guesthouse right on the outer wall of Rothenburg, the owner was very friendly and helpful, parking available, room clean, bathroom large with seperate toilet. Would definately recommend and return again.
 
No tea and coffee facilities in the room but none promised!

the heater was off and i arrived on 21:30h. i made on the heater and just a litte side of the heater was warm, there was air in the heater and it didn't heat right. it was the same problem with the heater in the bathroom. we had outside 2ºC. There was nobody in the reception there to resolve the problem.

The guesthouse is conveniently located between the railway station and the old town gate and provided a comfortable stay in a large room with a reasonable sized bathroom. The meals were very good - try the local veal.
 
Language difficulties meant that we did not receive instruction on items such as access to the premises after dark. A printed information list in the rooms in various languages might be in order.

Small cozy hotel with good owner.
 
The room light was a little too dark for business use. Might be betetr for holiday use.
