This is a great hotel for the price on the island. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. Parking is convenient across the street for 5 Euro or on the mainland for free. While this isn't a luxury hotel, if you want a nice room in a hotel with a family feel, this is the place for you.

Street was a little noisy in the morning. I think it must have been garbage day. Not a real problem at all, though.

The staff were very friendly and it felt like a very family-run guesthouse. The room was clean and comfortable. We were also able to leave our luggage after check out until we needed to catch our train: this was very helpful.

There was no information provided about the facilities of the hotel, so if there was indeed a garden terrace and sauna we were not aware of them. The ensuite bathroom could only be reached by crossing a corridor, rather than it be being directly attached to the room.

Very friendly staff that went out of their way to make even a 1-night stay a pleasant one. Room was nice and clean, bathroom perfect (and we were informed upon departure that our floor was going to be refurbished next month). Breakfast buffet included and free parking were additional perks.

The parking is not by the hotel, but considering the hotel is on the small island that makes sense. There is plenty of opportunity and space to unload the car in front of the hotel before driving it to the free car park across the bridge (5 min walk). The hotel is in a perfect location for train travelers as well as people arriving by car. If you're visiting Lindau, try to get a hotel on the island - it's worth it!
