Modern hotel with a long history

This former linen factory dating back to the 19th century, with its trademark factory chimney, was purchased by the Wagner Family in 1990, subsequently being remodeled and now offering 39 no-smoking rooms with a character that is beyond compare.

All rooms view to the interior court.

This family-run hotel is furnished with all the modern comforts (meeting 3-star-plus standards), presenting itself by means of a design concept that is quite out-of-the-ordinary. The play of light and color, combined with lovingly restored elements from the old factory, produces a work of architecture that is absolutely fascinating.

Centrally located in the Wien-Meidling district of Vienna the hotel is close to the U4 and U6 underground lines, as well as to the No.6 and No.18 trams. This means, you will always have a fast, convenient way to reach all of Vienna´s sights and attractions.

Parking is based on availability and can not be reserved. Thank you for your understanding.

Well, I stayed for 3 nights and it's clean and friendly for my experience. The only thing might could be better is in the smoking balcony, it will be better of there's handle on the outside of the door. However this is not anything very significant. I had my business trip very satisfied.

staff were helpful on checkout regarding ongoing travel arrangements Good value overall for the price, nice to have everything included in the price.
 
It would be nice to have tea and coffee facilitities in the room. Breakfast was nice but it would have been nice to have a bit more variety each day rather than the same offered every day.

It is my hotel of choice in Vienna. Close to main road, tube and tram, it remains quiet in its courtyard setting. Rooms and beds are comfortable, the atmosphere welcoming, most of all a good place to chill out after a day of meetings.

An excellent Hotel, with a competent and friendly team which we will happily recommend to anyone who wishes to come to Vienna. The breakfast was first class, thank you to everyone.
 
On Friday night, I found the noise of people talking outside at the restuarant a nuisance to a late hour. This was because the noise echoes around the courtyard and because it was hot, we had the windows open as we prefer fresh air to using air con. In colder weather this would be less of a problem of course. This is not a big issue as the restaurant did not give me any sleepless nights on the other days we stayed.

With the same daily hotel budget, I have stayed in Paris, Rome, Prague, Stuttgart and Vienna (this hotel), Hotel Fabrik is the most comfortable.
 
Maybe it will be nice to construct a glass door at the shower area to prevent water spillage.

Reception is not occupied by night, and anybody from the street can walk straight to the rooms while being unnoticed. Pillow is to thick and uncomfortable.
