Hotel Drei Kronen is located in the Rheingarten (Rhine garden) very close to the Cathedral, various museums and the Philharmonie concert hall, so you will be able to discover the most important sights of the city. Furthermore, we are just a few steps away from the shopping area, the main railway station, the trade fair grounds and the moorings of the Rhine-Steamers.
Our rooms are bright and friendly. They come with shower and toilet, flat-screen TV, direct-dial telephone and radio. There is also WLAN internet access available in the rooms.

We were delighted with this room which was large and looked out over the Rhine. The restaurant was also excellent: good food, friendly service both at breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is large and delcious, served at the table. The location is also superb, minutes away from the main train station and many museums.

It has a very warm atmosphere; the hotel's personeel is particularly friendly and helpful. Many of them are fluent not only in english but in spanish and french. The view of the Rhine and the park is lovely. The hotel is in walking distance of all mayor attracions of the city. Wonderful location and service.

Clean hotel in a very convenient location.
We booked a double room but got 2 single beds pushed together which moved apart in the night. This was very uncomfortable. The TV picture was awful, only 1 channel was watchable due to poor signal.The room was freezing cold because the heating was faulty. When I reported this I was told we would have an electric heater in our room but when we returned to hotel, the window in our room was open and no heater so it was even colder. No tea / coffee making facilities. Shower room was so tiny it was uncomfortable. Lots of noise from nearby railway bridge. Breakfast was 10 euros each so we ate out each day for half the cost. Would not recommend this hotel.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms have been very clean and comfortable both times I have stayed. The water pressure in the shower is excellent. It was very easy to work with my laptop while staying there. The wireless internet connection had a very strong signal and was very fast. The location is incredible; right next to the Cathedral with a very nice view of the Rhine. There are tons of bars, clubs, and restaurants around the hotel. More importantly, there is a parking garage right directly in front of the Hotel! It isn't noisy or anything because the entrance and exit to the Garage is on the opposite side from the Hotel. I would definitely stay here again and again!
aside from the overwhelming number of people in the vicinity of the hotel due to the Christmas Market, there was quite a bit of construction in the area which made it very difficult to drive to the hotel. it isn't the hotel's fault though.
