The hotel De Weyman is a three-star, family-run hotel offering facilities and service of a four-star house. Thanks to its modest number of rooms, the hotel is able to offer a real personal service and ensures a unique and truly enjoyable stay. The 20 renovated and newly refurbished rooms, all equipped with outstanding facilities, are sure to put you at your ease and make you feel at home in no time. We provide two single rooms and 18 double rooms. On request, we feature additional beds for the double rooms and thus eight rooms provide accommodation for three people and six of them are suited for four people. The rooms offer a fully equipped bathroom with toiletries, bathrobe, slippers and hair-dryer. They are appointed with direct-dial telephone, desk, mini fridge, radio, alarm clock, coffee/tea making facilities and cable TV (a number of TVs are large screen and provide DVD player or video recorder, free video tapes or discs are available in the hotel library). Furthermore, we offer WLAN internet connection. Half of the rooms already provide a computer as standard equipment. As additional service, we provide an iron and ironing board, a trouser press, a baby crib and a lot more. The manager and the multilingual staff of our hotel made experience in several countries and they aim to offer our cosmopolitan guests the most comfortable stay. We serve a rich breakfast and we have no fixed breakfast times, so you can enjoy a leisurely lie-in and take the breakfast when you wish.Should you have any special wishes concerning eating and drinking, we are pleased to meet all your requests and desires. You are welcome to use the hotel´s kitchen, where you will be assisted by one of our team members. The Hotel de Weyman is very centrally situated and the motorway is within easy reach. Well-known places such as Haarlem, IJmuiden and Beverwijk are not even five km away, while Zandvoort and Bloemendaal are about five km away. Alkmaar, Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport are 25 km away and can be reached within a 20 minute drive (beware of traffic jams!) Leisure travellers may also benefit from the hotel´s privileged location. We are very close to historical country estates, such as the impressive manor “Beeckestein” and “Velsen” estate. The historic “Brederode Ruins” are only 5 minutes away. Brederode was once the centre of trade. This is still visible in one of the most ancient roads, the “Wuste Avenue” that linked Amsterdam, Utrecht and even leaded to Rome. Right behind the hotel is the restored and still active corn mill, "De Zandhaas".
