New in Cologne: A "City Art & Culture Tax" is coming into effect of 1st October 2010. Therefore every Hotel has to collect a 5% extra fee on top of the accommodation rate and pass it on to the City of Cologne.

Hotel Cristall has been situated on the Ursulaplatz since 1994 and is centrally located between the cathedral, the railway station and the Ebertplatz. The cathedral, the railway station, the Mediapark, the old town, museums, the extensive shopping streets and the exhibition grounds can be comfortably reached on foot.

The 97 rooms feature individual designer furnishings and, together with the lobby and cocktail bar, radiate an unconventional flair that is particularly appreciated by the more cosmopolitan guests. All standard rooms are equipped with unique furniture, direct-dial-phone, analogue fax and modem access, mini bar, shower, toilet, hair-dryer, cosmetic articles, cable TV and pay TV.

Our Comfort rooms are newly furnished and belong to an impressive old building redeveloped in 2008, and attached to our main building. The Rooms are 26-36 square metres in size with a 3-metre ceiling height, and thus provide generous comfort. All Comfort rooms are non-smoking rooms and feature: king-size bed, air-conditioning, LCD flat screens, Wi-Fi free of charge, satellite TV and free SKY-TV entertainment, direct-dial telephone, DSL-modem connection, desk, mini bar, spacious shower and toilette, hair dryer and toiletries.

We also place a hotel safe, ironing room, baby bed, newspapers and magazines at your disposal.
