The Convencion Hotel is settled in the city centre, nearby the historical Park of the Pleasant Retreat (Parque del Retiro), the Sports palace and at just 5 minutes from the cultural triangle made by the famous museums, Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen. Strategically situated, with direct access to the city's bypasses, makes the hotel even of easier access by road.
The hotel has 790 rooms’ perfectly equipped, distributed on 8 floors, with 8 elevators for the clients' exclusive usage, and will all the services which characterize our category.
It has 2400 m² for the 14 polyvalent lounges in the hotel, standing out the Convencion Lounge with capacity for 850 people that can hold any kind of events: exhibitions, congresses, banquettes etc.

- within 5 minutes walking distance to metro, airport-shuttle, a 24h store, a supermarket and a bakery
- 30 min walking distance to city center
- good value for money (70€ per night)
- room was quiet (because facing a little yard with 4 walls)
- staff (in case they spoke any english) was friendly and helpful
- a little bit old fashioned
- bad view from window: facing a little yard with 4 walls (on the other hand: the room was really quiet)
- some staff at the reception doesn't speak any english
