Hotel Catalonia Las Cortes opened its doors in January 2006. It is an enchanting hotel and located in an old palace of the XVIII century. All the frescos in the building as well as the old staircase were preserved. The decoration of the hotel is very elegant and combines historical atmosphere and modern amenities. Our hotel is situated in the heart of Madrid and close to Plaza Santa Ana in the famous Letras de la Capital district.
The AVE (high-speed train) departs from Atocha station, only 1.3 km from the hotel. It just takes 5 minutes by taxi or 12 minutes if you decide to take a walk.
We provide 65 rooms, furnished in classic style with great care for detail. The ceilings of the hotel suites are all decorated with old frescos.
In the evening our guests can enjoy international specialties at the hotel restaurant or relax while reading an interesting book in our hotel library. In our hotel you will also find a café and 2 lounges with large windows which offer a capacity for 120 people.
