Hotel Birkhof is a family-run four-star hotel offering its guests a personal atmosphere. The hotel is placed in an English country house that is surrounded by an ample garden. A most welcoming place with exceptional service. The hotel offers all the amenities a business traveler cherishes like free WLAN everywhere in the hotel - which is still an exception in Germany. Less than 30 min away by car from Frankfurt airport it definitely beats the downtown chains.
The hotel is a bit off the beaten track - a car is required except for leisure trips.

The food was amazing! I generally go out for dinner but the food was so ewxceptional I couldn't wait to eat there. The rooms were small but efficient and modern. Yet, warm.
didn't realize the location was a suburb of hanau, not in hanau. the directions they gace to the train station were very poor. I am good with maps and i got lost twice. I got the impressions there was a fitness room with exercise equipment but there is not.
