Hotel Belle Epoque

We (my mother and I) booked two doubleroom superior to make sure that we get nice and big rooms. At the arrival the man at the reception told us that we would have two options: to stay in the Belle Epoque (waht we booked) or to stay in the Villa Victoria? We stated that we actually wanted the rooms we booked.Our rooms were on the second floor (stairs after stairs) no Lift. After the climbing, my mum is 72 years old and has heart problems, we were out of breath. Looking at the rooms superior was a shock. Under the roof with very little daylight, smelling of old and dusty material with a bathroom big enough for a cat, we thought this would be the chambers for the staff like in the old days. Going down again we were told that these rooms were exactelly what we booked so no understanding for our complaints (very professional and I ask myself how the standard rooms would be if these were superior, maybe in the seller?) We took (only because we were tired from travelling) the second opportunity in the Villa Victoria next to the park. After 11 steps we opened the door and found a staircase of again 39 steps going up to our rooms, so all together 50 steps and no lift of course. The rooms were quite nice but very noisy at night (there was a music festival on and drunks were passing in the middle of the night the Villa). The breakfast was ok. I would never go back again and also would never recommend this Hotel to one of my friends. We payed more that 800 € for the two nights, a waste of money!

the wireless network did not work in my room

I thought room was overpriced; the staff were not very friendly and we would never recommend the hotel to anybody else.
