In 2004, Hotel Banks Mansion opened its doors in a stately former bank building on the Herengracht Canal. This very special luxury hotel caters to business as well as tourist travellers who like to enjoy the good things in life. It is situated at one of the best locations of the city: alongside one of the loveliest canals in Amsterdam, where it intersects the Vijzelstraat. With only 51 first-class luxuriously appointed rooms, Banks Mansion can offer you old-fashioned individual hospitality.

The rooms, furnished in the style of the Berlage and Amsterdam schools of architecture, will be a pleasant surprise. Leaded glass elements contribute to a warm, colourful and cosy atmosphere.

In addition to the regular 4-star facilities, you will also have your own personal private bar, a DVD player, an LCD TV, air-conditioning and wireless Internet.

The bathrooms are actually relaxation areas and offer you various facilities such as a 'Rain Shower'. In addition, some rooms have their own steam room or full-length bathtub.

All our guests agree on one thing: Banks Mansion is beautifully and tastefully furnished. Some call it retro and others Art Deco. We are just content to say that it has a very special and very cosy ambience.
