Hotel Ampervilla

Flies overall in the breakfast buffet area. TV very few channels. Location out in the booneys.

Bed mattress a little bit to hard.

The hotel caused me one trouble after another. 1) A week before the stay, they contacted me that my credit card was not authorised. My credit card has been operative all the time as I use it every day and I also used it in Germany during the period. 2) They contacted me that the triple room, which was originally booked, was not available any more and only a double with an extra bed was available. The price for the triple was much more than a double + extra bed, so I requested another room, as an overbooking is the hotel's fault. Then they said that they were fully booked, which was false because calling by telephone or through internet booking sites they did have available rooms. I booked two more rooms, which proved that they had tried to cheat me, and contacted them to cancel the triple room in time according to the canceling policy. We were 3 people and used 2 rooms. I should pay the price for 1 triple as originally booked, but on checking out, they tried to charge me for 2 doubles and 1 triple, for which I of course complained, then they at last charged, as a favor, for 1 triple and 1 double, which is almost the double of what I should have paid. 3) The hotel also tried to charge us telephone calls of the previous guest. I can not believe that a hotel still charges more instead of trying to compensate when a customer finds out that he was going to be cheated.

The only thing we found negative was the noise from the near main road B13. It's fine if you keep the windows closed - but hardly acceptable with open windows.

The WLAN does not work in large parts of the building yet. The staff was not aware of this fact and could not provide any assistance until the supervisor arrived.
