Our Hotel Am Galgenberg is located in Gera, a town in east Thuringia, right on the motorway B7, close to the exit A4. The town centre of Gera is reachable within a few minutes on foot. There is also good access to the public transport. We offer 58 rooms and apartments with a total of 90 beds. They are all cosy and appointed with every comfort you would need for a pleasant stay.
In the restaurant we serve mainly good Thuringian specialties but also German and international dishes. Enjoy our various theme buffets or menus and arrange your festive occasions according to your personal requirements.
The town of Gera is situated in the heart of eastern Thuringia, on the banks of the Weißer Elster. This town is stuffed with villas and places of interest, such as the Otto-Dix-Haus in Untermhaus as well as the Natural History Museum by the Gera Arcaden and its caves.
Complimentary parking facilities are available right on the doorstep or in our private car park.
