The history of the romantic Hotel Altes Zollhaus dates back to the year 1658, when a customs office was built on the road from Bohemia to Saxony. The hotel enjoys an elevated position of 800m above sea level, on the beautiful mountain ridge of the eastern Ore Mountains. It is embedded in 15,000m² area of grassland with springs, a forest lake and walking trails.
The 41 spacious hotel rooms and suites, all arranged in a country-house style, will make your stay an unforgettable experience. Each one is well-appointed with en suite facilities, shower gel, hairdryer, telephone, radio alarm clock and satellite TV.
The century-old cross vault restaurant offers international and regional cuisine in a historic ambience. Traditional coffee specialties and cakes are served at the Zollhaus-Café every afternoon.
For your relaxation there are a sauna and solarium available. Charge-free parking facilities are directly at the house.
