Hotel description Hotel Altberlin am Potsdamer Platz

The Hotel Altberlin am Potsdamer Platz was built around the turn of the century. It has completely been renovated without losing its nostalgic charm. Being located at Potsdamer Platz, which offers a marvellous modern architecture, the hotel provides close proximity to the theatre Variete Wintergarten, the philharmonics and the culture centre.

The hotel rooms, furnished in Wilhelminian style, are unique in Berlin. They are appointed with modern amenities offering the typical cosy style of the old Berlin. All rooms provide a bathroom, toilet, mini bar, TV, telephone and WLAN internet access free of charge.

Our restaurant serves traditional cuisine of Berlin as well as regional specialities. The original recipes stem from old, inherited cookery books.

Nice hotel with a historic ambiente of the "old" Berlin. Excellent location in walking distance to museums and attractions at the Potsdamer Platz. Good connected to public transport with a bus stop in front of the hotel.

very friendliness girl,wich work on 06.11,thank for advisors and kindly attention.
 
It was a little confusion,when we ask girl from kichen to take her foto-she was in so wonderfull dress!-she was not so kind...May be,we were to her not so polietly.

Friendly and Helpfull Personell.
 
Not a siutable Hotel for a bussiness Trip. Internet access is a problem as well as internet access is to be paid. I expect webaccess as part of standard and free of charge.

I had the most amazing room 'The Empress Suite' for under 80 Euro! Four poster bed and a bathroom you could die for. However, there is no lift. So those with a lot of luggage be aware, although staff are willing to help you.
