The price was reasonable. The location was great and the staff was nice.

Housekeeping did a terrible job. We could hear everything from rooms on either side. The in room coffee makers were old which made the coffee taste horrible. |

Perfect location. Decent size and clean room for reasonable price considering you are in the centre of Manhattan. We had to change rooms after one night due to renovation on the 16th floor. (Noticed nothing of that otherwise). Desk clerck named Aldi took real good care of that and offered breakfast vouchers for the inconvenience. Great service and very friendly staff. Roll-away bed as third bed in the room fitted easily and therefore a stay with 3 adults in one room is still comfortable. Will certainly stay there again when in Manhattan.

Nothing bothered us at all. Read some comments beforehand about slow elevators, but did never had to wait really long. |

The reception and help desk was very unhelpfull. For example it took them about 6 hours to figure out where I can use the internet. Also the reception said that there is a wireless access everywhere at the hotel, it was not true. |

Chosing Holiday Inn hotel in NY we expected it to be on the same level as in Europe. But,unfortunately,it was much worse.Specially bath room was not cleaned properly.
Also shuttle bus service to airport was not managed in quite strange for us way - although hotel had this service,we couldn find any indicated bus stop at JFK on arrival. And from the hotel to airport it was necessary to order it 1 day before paying exactly the same price as for normal yellow taxi.Definitely it was not usual shuttle bus service which is normal in Europe. |

They turned off the airconditioning in the entire hotel. it was hot. the windows did not open. could not sleep. rooms are rather old, have not been renovated. noone could help me get a taxi even. it did not do justice to the holiday inn brand name |
