Even if the room rate was sold as "Nonsmoking doubleroom" and I separately also requested a nonsmoking room, I was placed in a smoking room which was very unfresh and smelly. When requesting to change I was denied the first night. |

Easy location, very friendly and helpfull staff, comfortable rooms.

|
Noise from the main road if you have room on the wrong side of the hotel. Old fashioned TV set.
High breakfast rate of Euro 17 pp which seems to become fashion in Germany lately. |

Rooms were expensive (because of SMM?) and 17 euro for breakfast is very expensive.
Rather late in the evening people were walking and talking in corridor and I could hear this in my room very loud, even when they were not shouting, but just talking. |

The hotel is so easy accessible from the highway.

|
I had to stay in a smokers room. During checkin it was not asked whether I preferred a non-smoking or smoking room, neither it was mentioned that there was no non-smoking room available. |

The Hotel is not well placed for the centre of Hamburg if you don't want to use your car. 2 buses give access to the centre. The area surrounding the hotel is not that attractive with very limited facilities (bars, restaurants etc). Only some of the rooms have air-conditioning which seems ludicrous for a 4 star hotel! The place is very large and impersonal. I would not recommend it as value for money. |

Only one room was available upon arrival. Handled professionally by the staff, but it was irritating. |

| Great deal for the money! Nothing interesting around that area. It's next to a factory and the Autobahn, but still pretty quiet. The pool is very interesting, located on the 2nd floor with big windows for an interesting swimming experience. |
