This Holiday Inn is the best I have stayed at. All the staff were very friendly.
Unfortunately their efforts were ruined by a smoker having a fag in their room on my floor. It is not the hotels fault, but I am finding this trend increasing in hotels (I stay in one at least once a week) Someting needs to be done to stop these inconsiderate people.

The Breakfast was absolutely lovely couldn't ask for better. Overall the hotel was excellent just let down by the evening meal.
I was disappointed with the evening meal which consisted of a help yourself carvery not what i expected for the price of the hotel inc the meal - if i'd have wanted that i could have gone to any local Toby Carvery and had a better meal for much less.

Hotel was exactly as I would expect from a hotel of this class. Clean, efficient and pleasant staff. From the description I had expected it to be walkiing distance to the racecourse. It was if you enjoy a 25 minute walk in high heels !!However a taxi solved that problem. We had a very enjoyable weekend.
