Positive the first room was clean with a nice outlook the second also clean but the aspect not as good Negative the duvet was too thick even with the window open it was hot in the room, I asked for a blanket instead and all that could be offered was a single sheet. The TV remote did not work and this was not rectified during the second day so we had to change rooms

Positive if you are interested to nightlife there are many bars, pubs but then in the hotel you can hear a lot of noise...up to 4/5 am in the morning

Positive Location excellent, close to Old Portsmouth, Southsea, Rail & Ferry. Fully functioning rooms. Not noisy on a weekend night (despite central location). Negative Expensive rates for a budget hotel. Poor quality ingredients for breakfast, though plentiful in quantity. High additional wifi charges.
