Clean, modern hotel

Wall mounted air ducts to the outside create a cold environment in the guest room and cannot be shut! Windy conditions outside meant windy conditions inside?

The weekend that we went,Madonna was appearing in Cardiff. We consider that the hotel was profiering by charging over three times the normal rate for one of the nights.

We didn't arrive until 2:50am. However, the person at the desk was extremely friendly. Even suggesting that we took a tray to our room; should we not be ready for breakfast.

There didn't appear to be any staff around to assist with breakfast. Juice machine had lights on but didn't work. Tables were not quickly cleared in order to make way for other guests.

I was very pleased with the room. Breakfast was very good - very healthy

Had dinner at the hotel - in my evaluation slip I said that it was Wetherspoons quality, but at a higher price!!

The description on the internet was very deceiving. I did not expect the hotel to be of such high standard so near to the airport. The receptionist on arrival made us very welcome and sorted out a problem made by myself on booking the holiday as soon as we arrived which made our stay even more pleasant. We only stayed one night and had to leave early in the morning but we had beakfast offered to us in the early hours out of normal serving times and we would definately use the hotel again. If we had not already booked the airport parking facilities we could have parked the car there in safety also at a very competitive price, we will be using this opportunity on our next holiday abroad. Great hotel and service all round!

Arrived late on a Friday evening very hungry - staff advised us on local takeaway and even ordered it for us and provided plates & cutlery - beyond the call of duty! Staff very friendly and helpful. 1st room allocated was near reception - asked for move to quieter room - this was not a problem either. Good selection breakfast items. All in all very pleasant experience.

No ffod available when I arrived after a long journey. It said in the website that breakfast would be available from 4am. I had to be in the airport by 5.45, and no breakfast was available up until that point.
