Old and dirty carpets in the room. In general, old equipment with the exception of the TV. |

In a business hotel I expect a good bed and a good internet connection. Most hotels offer free connection nowadays. Despite the very expenisve room rate 15 pounds was asked to get online with no other options. Please offer choice like a 1 hour rate for one or 2 pounds if you then must ask cash for a connection. That suits me to collect my email. |

Parking can be a problem as the hotel car par is small and you are forced to park on the street. |

The hotel staff are always very friendly, courteous and quick to resolve issues. I experienced a one-off hiccup during my stay, and the staff and management worked hard to resolve this for me.
In resolving the problem, the hotel provided a car & driver to take me to my evening meeting as I was running late, and credited the cost of a high value telephone call made from my room. |

Great location with the ferry to Canary Wharf Pier and free shuttle bus to Canada Water station on the Jubilee Line.
Staff are always very friendly and efficient.

|
The hotel's showing its age and in need of refurbishment. The lifts, of which there are many, can be quite noisy if your room is close to one. |

I phoned to advise the hotel of a late checkin, also requesting one of the better rooms. On arrival I had been allocated a Super Deluxe room with a view over the Thames.

|
The fire alarm had a false alarm at 7a.m. on a morning when I didn't have to be awake early, for a rare change. |

For a business traveller who spends much of his time in Canary Wharf the Hotel is ideally located. The staff are always very welcoming and helpful.

|
The hotel layout may appear to be more like a maze at times, and some of corridors have very creaky floorboards. |
