A pretty good place to stay, excellent beds, and well located close to MRT. Usually friendly staff although they often have a challenge executing on requests. Breakfast quality still good but declined in recent years.
Rooms are clean but meanwhile (mid 2011) have become a little old and tired. Bathrooms are very small.

Very comfortable bed. Air conditioning that you can easily adjust. The hotel is located in the middle of the famous Orchard Road where you can get everything you need and beyond...
Quite expensive area. The breakfast was quite noisy and crowded every morning. If you have access to the Lounge it is peaceful at breakfast but the selection is very limited compared to the main breakfast restaurant downstairs. Order your taxi in advance so you don't need to wait outside the hotel.

Very well kept rooms. Nice bed and amenities. Overall very pleasent inside. Not the best I've ever stayed it, but very good nonetheless.
I could hear some sounds from other rooms within the hotel which I would not expect from a hotel of this level. Specifically, I could hear noises from pipes when a room nearby used the bathroom or shower.
