Room card (Club level) malfunction when trying to enter the club. After the card was re-programmed it worked but not during the next day again. I had only one breakfast in the Club as the coffee in the lobby bar was far better. This is a minor thing but perhaps someting to improve. The coffee in the lobby bar was really excellent.

The internet access card was included in the rate but still I had to ask for it and even prove the fact. The same staff emeber did not how to use the IT system.Finally the on the check-out she did not ask if I had enjoyed the stay or anything. In one word- unpleasent! The room was very old and the air-conditioning kept very loud noise. The shower was old-fashioned ceiling style and not very proactical.The breakfast was also worse than earlier. No coffee was served to the table and the variety of food was nothing special. Our company has another hotel with less a rate bearby and at the moment I do notsee any point in coming to HIlton Strand.

Stuff is very polite and service is excellent. Iin the morning the Financial Times (newspaper) was outside the door, not asked for it.

In the knob of shower was broken, and in TV (YLE 1) there were no subtitles on.

Good staff but room tidyness could be improved.

I hade room 745 and the first thing that I noted when I came in was a strong smell (it smelled like sweat). Then I noticed that the houskeeper had missed to take away the last guests old towel - it was under the toilet so perhaps she/he did not notice it there? During the night I stayed there they were performing an annual service which affected the power (it was cut off between 01.00 and 04.00 a.m. At 03.14 I was woken up by the TV turning on by itself and had to shut it off three times before it stopped. I assume this had to do with the annual maintenance..
