The hotel is badly soundproof. I woke up when the person in the room next to mine started the shower (6:30 in the morning). The water pipe was just running in the "wall" next to my bed.
The bathroom fittings were really limed up and should have been cleaned a long time ago.
This was not my first stay in that hotel however as it has been booked for me centrally before I haven't been able to share my experiences here. If been staying in that hotel for a week back in 2010 and the overall quality hasn't changed since then. Regarding the price-performance ratio I can't recommend this hotel at all.

Large breakfast selection at reasonable price
Large gym with techno-music from 6am to 9pm - one wing has rooms above the gym and very noisy.
No wireless internet in rooms. Cabled internet did not work with a Mac and was GBP15.00 per day

Standard Einzelzimmer hat ca. 10qm inkl. Bad. Direkt gegenueber dem sprechenden Fahrstuhl, nachts extrem nervig, ebenso die permanent quatschenden Hotelgaeste vor dem Fahrstuhl. Fenster oeffnen unmoeglich wegen Strassenlaerm.
Indiskutables Preis-/Leistungsverhaeltnis.

nice size room which is nicely presented.
Planned to have a meal on arrival at 5pm as we needed to leave to attend a surprise party at 7pm locally but restaurant not open til 6.30 first sitting. Offered bar menu but choice was limited and cost excessive. reception suggested a bar within 5min walk but when we got there they also dont serve til 6pm. We ended up walking back to hotel bar and ordered a soup and portion of fries to suffice. The mushroom soup was bland and certainly didnt reflect the price.

Friendly staff, managed an early check in for us, clean rooms.
Somebody had been in our room during the afternoon as we had turned the lights off and they were on when we came back. Cleaner tried to come in at 9.30am when we were still in bed.

Staff nice
Always stayed on car park side, rooms nice, and quiet. Room this time faced busy road and sound proofing is very poor. Worst nights sleep for a long time!

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for its comfort and quality of service. It is also to be commended for its child friendliness.
