HEM Hotel

The hotel was not well maintained, and the staff seemed more interested in making money than actually providing actual customer service. The first room we had was located next to the elevator, and had the machine room located directly in our room. It was incredibly noisy in the room. The room was also not cleaned. There was a sticky mess on the floor at the entrance of the room, and the fridge in the room clearly had not been cleaned in quite some time, as when I opened the door, a foul odour came out. The staff did move us to another room when requested, however, which was acceptably clean. Probably the worst experience at the hotel was having to drive into a gated area to pick up our things when we left. When we tried to exit the compound, the staff told us that thez would not let us out without paying for the parking! I argued with the staff for about 5 minutes to let me out because I had only gone to pick my things up, to which he accused me of being a liar. After 5 mins, he eventually let us out. I would certainly not recomend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms and hotel in general are in bad condition. Reception staff upon arrival unfriendly.
